We're a group of friends who decided to live in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. We chose a life that pulls us away from everything that disconnects us from nature — and closer to new people, late-night conversations, and sunsets watched straight from the water.
We teach surf, kitesurf, wingfoil and SUP lessons on the most beautiful beaches and rivers in the north of Portugal — and we gear you up to keep living this long after your first lesson. Whatever sport you choose, you'll learn, sure, but mostly you'll live moments with our team.

What we sell
Our shop carries carefully curated kitesurf, surf, wingfoil and SUP gear — kites, control bars, boards and apparel from brands like Flysurfer, plus gift cards for sharing the experience. Everything is chosen (and tested) by our own instructors, with shipping across the country.

Modo Experto School
We were born in Viana do Castelo, on Portugal's north coast, with one simple mission: share our passion for the ocean. We teach and run experiences in surf, kitesurf, wingfoil, SUP, wakeboard and bodyboard, always with certified instructors and classes built around your level — from your first time standing on a board to your first move in the air.
